This research includes the study of the mechanical properties of lightweight aggregate concrete (LWAC) using chopped carbon fibers with different ratios of volume (0.5, 1, 1.5). According to the best results from mechanical properties tests the chopped carbon fiber concrete mix with (Vf=1) were selected to study the effects of adding Acrylic polymer on the mechanical properties, with different weight ratios of polymer to cement (3, 7, 10). The results showed that the addition of carbon fiber improves the mechanical properties of LWAC. The addition of carbon fibers causes an increase inpressive, splitting tensile and flexural strengths relative to the reference LWAC (without fiber)..
